Dear karate instructor,
Usually, karate seminars are addressed to all the practitioners, both scholars and instructors. Mixing up people with different skills and roles gives them the chance to compare each other and share certainties and doubts, favoring a faster growth in those who are usually students and a greater awareness in those who usually teach. But also usually, training and teaching are not the same thing.
The primary task of a karate master is to improve his ability to transmit his knowledge to the students. This ability comes from his awareness about karate principles and techniques, but also from his comprehension of the basic psychologic dynamics and communication skills. Moreover, a karate teacher should focus his own attention on the fundamentals more than he usually thinks he should, because kihon is what his students mainly need to become solid karatekas.
The Roberto Danubio’s 2018 International Instructors Seminar, that will be held in Rome from September 21 to September 23, is going to be a three-day karate workshop built to face all of these matters in an innovative and cooperative way. It will not be just a one-direction seminar, like a usually taught class lecture. It will be an involving and engaging workshop led by a karate specialist to be addressed to karate specialists. An effective way to increase our consciousness and awareness and grow up as masters.
Rome is regarded as the birthplace of Western civilization and is commonly known as the Eternal City. And in such a timeless place it will be a great privilege and pleasure for us to have the opportunity to spend some pretty time together studying Wadoryu and visiting one of the most beautiful cities in the world. We look forward to meeting you in Rome. In the sign of Wado.
Thanking You, Yours Truly,
